Common Questions

Do I really get to use the course for free?

Yes. We offer three tiers of free course access:

  • Free for team – if you provide us with a new topic idea or contribute meaningful feedback to a course in collaboration, you gain access to that course for yourself and up to 50 coworkers for one year.
  • Free for department – if you and/or your subject matter experts collectively contribute between five to forty hours of time (i.e. calls/webinars/meetings), you gain course access for yourself and up to 250 coworkers for two years.
  • Free for organization – If you and/or your subject matter experts collectively contribute over forty hours of time and substantial non-proprietary content, you gain course access for yourself and up to 2,000 coworkers for three years.

How involved can I be in course development?

Your level of involvement is completely up to you.

    • Some people just want to share topic ideas with us. We like that!
    • Some people want to contribute feedback on courses in development. We love getting more insight from people in different roles, at different levels, and across healthcare segments.

  • Some people have a specific course that they would like to see developed as they would like to use it internally in their company. We embrace a deeper level of involvement of subject matter experts from a variety of companies. We rely on our own internal team of experts to decide what goes into a course so it’s not like you will be directing course development, but you’re invited to be deeply involved.

What topics do you cover?

We believe that people like yourself, leaders and front-line managers who work in a healthcare industry, have the best sense of what is valuable for their workforce to understand and act upon. We vet each idea we receive with your peers and internal & external experts to evaluate and prioritize each topic.

  • We focus industry literacy topics.
  • We offer perspectives on a topic from various healthcare segment perspectives: payers, providers, consumers, manufacturers, retailers, etc. We believe that by enabling learners to understand a healthcare topic from several segment/business perspectives, they will better understand why healthcare works the way that it does. This also positions learners to think through how they can improve their own team’s performance.
  • Our courses answer very broad questions such as “How does healthcare work?” to very specific questions such as “Why is prior-authorization needed, who is involved, and how does it work in the real-world?”
